Hi I'm Richie Norton; Director & Founder of The Strength Temple.
As someone who has played at high levels of competitive sport, I’ve needed to understand what it takes to reach the highest levels of fitness. Its not always been the smoothest ride finding my way.
Going through physical and psychological challenges in my life, battling with depression, sustaining career ending injuries, making lifestyle mistakes, being overweight and pushing my body to its limits has taken its toll. I had to hit some all time lows before I was able pick myself up and start this new journey. Having said that one of my favourite quotes is that a smooth sea never made a skilled sailor; I'd like to think I've definitely earned my sea legs ;-)
The Strength Temple was born out of the lessons I've learnt and the teachings I've had in my training and nutrition journey. I want to share the knowledge, facts and motivation that allowed me to turn my life around and give me the power to help others maximise their potential.

I'm a life coach, qualified PT and very proud to be working as a Firefighter for Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Service.

Hi, I'm Dr Dan; Director at The Strength Temple.
I started my early career in hospitals, much of it spent in emergency care. However as a keen sportsman my passion was always sport and exercise medicine. I left hospital medicine over a decade ago to follow my interests in this area and have worked in areas of human performance in extreme environments, fitness and health delivery and rehabilitation for the Armed Forces since then.
In addition to my full time clinical job I have a number of academic positions in two universities. In my free time I love running, cycling, swimming, kayaking and generally messing about in the great outdoors so I can be closer to nature, a love of which I hope I am passing on to my children.
I support a number of charities which I am passionate about helping, and over the years I have worked with many elite athletes, ordinary people, those with disabilities, professional teams and expeditions going to extreme places.
The most rewarding for me though; is to see those who wish to improve, and are prepared to take those initial steps, achieve their aims and appreciate real benefits.
Hi I'm Shona Vertue and I'm a Personal Trainer and Yoga Teacher based in London, UK.
I have completed extensive training in Strength and Conditioning with world-renowned coaches including Charles Poliquin and Paul Chek. I have studied with many internationally acclaimed yoga teachers including Sharon Gannon and David Life (founders of Jivamukti Yoga). Over the last five years I have obtained qualifications in Chinese Massage and Dry Needling Therapies and various other nutritional based courses including the Poliquin Biosignature Modulation*. I feel that this has enabled an eclectic and holistic approach to the way I educate my clients and myself.
I see my mission in life as broadcasting the message, as widely as possible that the key to health is true happiness, and that true happiness comes from a commitment to your own self love and self worth.
